About me

Hi! I’m Nikol, and my love for chickens goes all the way back to my childhood. It started with visits to my great-grandmother, who kept a handful of hens in her little backyard. The moment the garden gate clicked shut behind me, I would run straight to the coop, heart racing with excitement to discover how many fresh eggs were waiting.

Years have passed, but that feeling hasn’t changed. I still step into the coop with the same spark of joy — only now the coop is mine, and the flock has grown quite a bit.

Today my partner and I care for around 250 hens. Some of them we rescued from large-scale farms, giving them a second chance at life, while others are already part of the new generation we’ve raised ourselves :-)
